Hand Made Stool - Cornish Brown Oak # 28
Crafted in beautiful rare local Cornish Brown oak with oak legs and featuring dark walnut seat wedges.
Brown oak is highly prized and a much sought after timber. Its distinctive rich coloration is thanks to a symbiotic collaboration with the beef steak fungus (Fistulina Hepatica) within its root system.
Another stool in this popular design. Like all the others, I sculpt the shape by hand using a farriers rasp.
Like all my stools they have my name and logo fixed into the bottom of the seat.
This is one of the larger sizes, comfortable for sitting on, or an ideal sofa side table height.
This has been sealed and treated with danish oil.
